PNP. Cork perfect, but broke. Color garnet w some bricking. Nose has some damp earth, rhubarb and cola. Swishing shows dense slightly stewed fruit and oak, with some acid but mostly tannin dominating the structure. Sipping shows its polish, with some tartness actually and weight. Very nice and improved with air.

Fully mature with fruit way in the back. Very light on its feet with very pleasing acid/food profile. Doubtful will benefit from any further aging (unless a mag). Drinks beautifully.

Popped and poured. Color dark garnet and not much change at edges. Nose shows dark cherry fruit and baking spice framed by toasted oak and a whiff of alcohol which evolves some cola notes with air. On palate this is fairly soft and svelte showing structure on the tail end. Mostly skin stem type tannin. This is still quite youthful and not showing any real signs of maturity. Should age for awhile

A smooth and exceptional bottle of pinot. Had it with some friends at Tex Wasabi and it blended extremely well with our foods. It was smooth and supple and tasted like black cherries and strawberry. Really nicely layered with an incredibly smooth finish

14.3% alcohol. Very dark red. You can see Merry Edwards' love of color intensity in this wine. Intriguing nose of black cherry, a hint of spice, earth, and minerals. In the mouth, a textural pleasure but somewhat hollow on the palate. It leaves you wanting more delineating of fruit flavors and complexity. The texture is plush and enjoyable -- very enjoyable -- but the palate has a hole in it. The finish dries out a touch, giving a lingering impression of grape skins. Was color favored over flavor here? Still enjoyable because the texture is so lovely. B+

Opened foe 1 hour. Bright fruit, earth and spice on the nose with carried through the palate with cherry, asian spice and strawberry finish. A very good quality wine. This pinot is the essence of subtle pinot not like to big bruiser from the central coast.

WOW! Lovely black cherry and floral aromas with delicate cranberry and sour cherry flavors with earth and floral notes finishing with well balanced acidity and tannins. Great mouth feel!

A bit more muted in terms of fruit than I had expected. However, given that the last bottle of the Meredith that I opened had oxidized, this was a dramatic improvement.

Super. Amazing with Italian. Perfect. Plenty of life left imo. The red fruit to dark fruit. Blackberry, plum. Little to no tannin.

Given the price it was a bit of a disappointment. Good Pinot, but not worth the price.

Wine Bank Pino Noir tasting (Wine Bank, Menlo Park, CA): Very unique nose with hint of leather, however the taste did not follow well and was somewhat empty.
