Developing mineral Pinot nose - quite dark and cool. Notes of stalks and herbaceousness, masculine; quite chunky tannins still, good mouthfeel and texture. A little drying perhaps suggesting that it wouldn't benefit from further aging. Drying, tannic finish. Drink sooner rather than later.
