Improved with air over 4 hours. Aromatics and flavor profile red and savory. Finished a bit too short. Lacked a bit of structure and backbone to support the flavors and finish....had those been there the experience would have been exemplary. As it stood, it was terrific. This is fading and I'd recommend drinking up. Great bottle and sadly, my last.

- Ruby color with medium forming legs and aromas of cherry, raspberry and smokey. It's balanced and has flavours of raspberry, cherry and strawberry jam with a medium/full body. Polished texture with a long finish - Decanted 2 1/2 hours. The wine is ageless, still showing so well. This wines construction is as good as any Syrah put up against it.

Decanted about two hours. Dark fruit. Has a bit of syrupy cherry/red fruit on the back of the tongue. Seemed to dissipate as the night wore on - maybe as the bottle emptied. Decent finish.

Absolutely knock out, like a high level Cote Rotie. Beautiful nose of charcoal, dark rich fruits and lead pencil. This wine is drinking perfect and has a year or 2 more years at this peak level IMHO

Very good wine. Deep red hues. Decanted almost two hours. Complex meld of red and black fruit. Lingering finish. Drinking well. Had with an 06 Saxum and this was better.

Reticent alluring nose of pure clean fruit with hints of game, blood. Perhaps its the vineyard name, Cherry Camp, that clouds my taste, but the fruit seemed clean and pure despite a prominent background of sage, cardamon, feral viscus, burnt tri-tip ends. However, these savory characters are not brash like I find in some expressions of the In the Rocks fruit. No alcohol.
All in all, a beautiful wine that benefited from 2 hours of air. I think this is just entering its drinking window and will only get better over the next 5 years.

Slim jimmy/BBQ nose reminiscent of SQN. The palate is more old world at first with cool blue fruits, ash, and after some warming up, redder, plusher fruit. Long lush finish that takes away the initial old world impression. Very good and very interesting.

Deep deep red lighter purple in color. Nose is full of blackberry and spice and some smoky BBQ meat. Maybe it is the tri-tip about to be enjoyed with it. Medium bodied with really nice texture at this point and about a 30 second finish with a few layers of flavor. Really good and will update if any big changes with the food.

- Ruby color with slow forming legs and aromas of smokey, dusty, chocolate and blackberry. It's in total harmony and has flavours of raspberry, dusty, black currant and bacon with a full body. Smooth texture with a long finish - Decanted 2 hours. Sweet blueberry nose. Served with pork chops with apple compote; over sweet potato, andouille and spinach hash.

Inky, dark purple color. Lots of dark cherry plus oak and very little spice or terroir. Lacks some complexity to be a great wine, but well made and enjoyable. For me a 90 points, for my wife only a 88.

Very nice. Cherry camp is a good name for this fruity syrah which is more reservedon the palate than you might expect given a nose on the bigger side. Lots of compexity and long finish. A very nice wine to drink.

Quite different in style from the more opulent 2005 and 2006 Cherry Camps. This one has more grip, and is less fruit-forward. By no means under-fruited but more austere and complex. Dark-fruited. Loads of black pepper and spices on both the nose and palate. Indeed, this is one of the most peppery syrahs I have encountered, which for me is a good thing. The balance between the fruit and other elements suggests great aging potential.

Ruby color with a pleasant nose of red fruit, the wine has good raspberry and strawberry fruit flavors along with good acidity. Not overly tannic and most importantly not overly alcoholic and hot. This is one of the "lighter" syrahs I have had in a while at 14.6% alcohol and reinforces my belief that those California reds over 15% alcohol (Syrahs and Cabs) tend to be overripe, often overextracted and usually unenjoyable wines that won't improve with time.

A bit tart for me, but that seems to settle down after 45 minutes at which point the fruit and earth become more prominent.
Still on the tart side, good nose, very good length. Dried cherry and dried sagey spicy nose.

Waited until 2016. Quite earthy, less fruit, still quite structured. Perhaps try the next one in 2018...

Tasty, slightly tart, good nose, nice length. Still quite a ways to go, but seems fine. In no danger, and drinking well.
I might wait until 2016 for the next one.
