Good value. Decanted 1 hour. Red fruit, graphite, cedar box. Drying tannins and nice overall for the price. Finish is short and there is a touch of heat.

Nice color and a really spectacular nose with cabernet fruit, wood shavings and floral notes. Unfortunately it is just not quite integrated, with too much sweetness making me feel like I'm having a mixed drink. The oak and tannins are there, but they don't compete with the sweet, jammy fruit. Still a tasty sipper in any case. At least it's not $200.

complex plum, black currant, and cocoa aromas echoed by rich persistent flavors of plush ripe fruit, dark chocolate and spice all supported by balancing rich velvety tannins. OK, that's what Wine Enthusiast said, but it sounds right to me.

Consistent w/ prior note. This is damn good juice for 15USD. Seemed a touch out of balance this time around, but has plenty of tannins, acidity, and fruit to promise better things in another year or so.

Really great bottle for the price. Nice dark magenta color. Plenty of dark cassis on the nose, with a touch of cedar box and spice. With lengthy decanting, some steminess shows, yet it doesn't detract from the wine. Good medium weight in the mouth allowing for a sense of elegance as the cassis and cherry glides seamlessly from the attack through the admirable finish. Delicious.
Drink over the next five years. 89+ -JRS

Had a glass at a restaurant before and loved it - huge currant nose, nice weight. However, opened a bottle at home and just wasn't feeling it - we didn't even finish half the bottle. Decanting might have helped?

An interesting showing, this opens with very Left Bank notes of wild herb and crushed gravel, but softens with air to show very pure black fruit flavors. Structured on the palate, this is serious juice, with fine tannins and intense fruit and graphite flavors.

Nothing to write home about, a bit pricey for what it is.

A smooth flavorful wine with a good spice and peppery flavor, and a hint of cedar. A strong juice. Well worth what you pay for.
