Dark purple. Lots of dark fruits, blueberry, sweet oak, and concentrated tart acidity with a long fruit-filled finish. Drinking well now if you like a fruit forward Cali Cab.

Purple with crimson highlights. Blueberry, cassis, spice and leather nose. Medium to full bodied, thick jammy blackberries, slightly tart cherries, sweet grainy tannins, tobacco, dark chocolate, and a medium to long spicy finish. Quality juice at a fair price.
Consistent with my last note. Bitter and green on the first day. On the second day, a bit more pleasant but still nothing special. Stick with the 2006 for now, folks. The 2007 may show up someday, but not today

Unfortunately I was expecting something along the lines of Jocelyn Lonen's terrific 2006 effort. This ultimately fell short, although it was still pleasant. Whereas the 2006 had bright fruit with solid astringent tannins, the 2007 has darker fruit with greener, bitter tannins. Will re-cork and try again tomorrow to see if it opens up

PNP. Drank over two hours. Purple red in color. Surprisingly good at this price point. Classic fruits on the nose with floral overtones. On the palate blackberries, red cherries, pepper and vanilla. Stood up well against the more expensive 2007 Quintessa and 2003 Kathryn Hall Rutherford Cab. (Celebrating family birthdays - April 2, 2011)

What an incredibly gorgeous beast. This is a thick, hearty tasty wine that exemplifies what a Napa Valley Cab should be. Screams of hearty thriving red fruit, gorgeous oak and a peppery-tobacco-leather combo that knocked my socks off. Yes, it sure is young. I'll have to get more to see what this will be doing in a couple of years. I LOVE this stuff.

Very solid wine. Good tannins remain so it could still age a bit. The fruit and oak have integrated well.

Agree with the comments about being "green" when popped and poured. Unfortunately the bottle did not last long enough to see if that resolved.

surprising very good. Nice bouquet and long finish. Considerable blue and black fruit. Fairly young and will improve with age
