Granet red, very littel orange, youthfull color. Smell intense. Cherries, acetone. Soft, little acid, long. Taste of plums, full bodied. Needs some air, will keep for serval years.

This was a very pleasant surprise. Good bouquet, well-integrated tannins, pleasant fruit and mineral flavours and good length. Very well-made wine and definitely worth trying.

Pretty purple color, very youthful. Nice nose of red fruit and mocha. Fat full mid palate. Firm but enjoyable tannins. Great balance. Vert vert good. Worth seeking out. Great story behind the wine, too.

Very deep dark red, nose with cherry and current, taste with a hint of coffee and spicy and lot of tannin. The back palate is quite astrigent. Not very enjoyable now...

Hard to say, very dark and opulent but the tannins and oak needed some time, perhaps two years. Will the fruit still be there? I was going to buy a case but will still buy 1/2 a case based on Parker's evaluation of the property and wait and see. Stay tuned. Nice nose but a little harsh. My companions liked it.

Chronicle: Dark opaque purple. Rich blk/rasp notes! Nice truffle-like aromas-dark and brooding--dark dark forest notes. Full mth, big coffee t’s,long finish.

Dark ruby/purple color. Fantastic smoky, open nose. Reminded me of a cross between a Graves (which it is) and a classical St. Emilion. Probably not surprising given its contents. This usually is 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Franc (!), and only 10 % Cabernet Sauvignon. Black cherry, currants, some vanilla spice, espresso, and a whiff of shoe polish. Already very complex and inviting. Similar on the palate, very balanced wine with medium body, a layered feel and first-rate length. This is relatively concentrated for a Carmes Haut Brion, but the tannins are smooth and avoid any dryness. A very good wine that is very distinctive and absolutely french in style. I love it! Drink 2010-2020.

Consistent with last note a year ago. Black fruits, smoky/twigs, mineral. Tannins a little grainy but fine with beef. Medium finish.

Great effort for the vintage. Smoky and herbal but not overly green. Tannic bite is present. Medium finish

Really smoky, a little chalky, some sweet fruit later, coffee, still a little alcoholic... very straightforward Bordeaux.
