Opened and poured a glass. A bit of effervescence upon opening, that blew off. Copious wild and dark fruits. After a couple days under vac-u-vin, this has really fleshed out into a voluptuous, full bodied brambly monster. Superb for 13 years old.Tons of blacks and purples.

Pop n pour, a decant would have helped, as it was a bit high toned right out of the gate. But thereafter a really nice zin with some age. Raspberry and a little raisin on the nose, good fruit and some bramble on the pallet. Outside of Ridge I think Novy's Zins hold up best, and retain the Zin character more than Ridge does.

Sorry to say this is my last bottle of this wine, I like my zin young but this one just keeps getting better with age, very balanced and smooth, blueberry, pepper, and creamy.

Pure. Brambly Zinberry fruit that clearly stays on the red fruit side of the spectrum with nice acidity and no apparent oak. Glad that I bought 3 of these as that leaves 2 to do side by side with Mikes' Carlisle version. Nice job Adam.

Tough to rate since I clearly drank it too young. In need of a long decant. When first opened I was nervous that it was overoaked, but that cleared up after some time decanting. Despite 15.1% alcohol this is an elegant, but yet powerful zinfandel. Clearly not a jammy zin, but with nice red fruit flavors. Very nicely balanced wine, that I think will reveal more complexity in the next year or two.

BIG fruit. Creamy. Blackberries, black currants and blueberries. Powdered cocoa. Sweet. Smooth. Too big and jammy for me but everyone else loved it.
