Warm ripe fruit nose with very present vanilla floral bouquet. Round ripe red fruit on the palate, basically throughout and fading pleasantly in a long finish. Secondary flavors of baking spices and a nice acid structure. Tannins don't really come forward, but are surely there. This is drinking really well right now but I would expect a couple more years at a similar place before it starts to wane.

From a medium red body this wine smells of rich cherries and cola. Full and earthy body. It has a soft lush full body rich and full to the end with pepper and spice. Complex and delicate.

Decanted for 2 hours. Gorgeous ruby rusted red in hue. Meaty medium body not necessarily typical of an OR Pinot. Nice legs. Dusted cherries, raspberries, leather, and a hint of spice on the nose. A silky mix of berries, dark fruits, and forest floor on the palate. Fine tannins make for a solid structure. Excellent wine but a bit steep at the current QPR of luxury bottles. Will drink well for some time to come.

Notes from day 2. Dark red to purple. Nose of black fruit, leaves, a little spice and a little alc. Palate of mixed raspberries, tobacco, and earth, with a little spice. The finish was above average in length and there was good acidity to this forward style pinot. Overall the wine was a decent wine, but not the best qpr. Hold or Drink: 50+5+11+16+6

Sineann wines and whole bunch of other stuff (Our home): The 2008 vintage was a great one IMO in Oregon and it lifted many vineyards to outperform including this one. Excellent nose of cherries and cherry pie filling. Very clean. On the palate, this has some tight layering and is fuller than prior vintages. More round as well. Has a lush texture which is nice. Needs time of course, but should improve.

Dark cherry, tobacco, and earthy spices. Medium bodied with great acidity and excellent balance. Fine, ripe tannins providing some nice structure. Stylistically, very much what I expect when I'm thinking Oregon Pinot.

Notes from day 2. Dark red to purple in color. Nose of red raspberry, a little floral, fall leaves, spice. Palate of black and red raspberry, a little pomegranite, red twizzle, forest floor, spice, and a little oak still showing. The finish is long and there is okay balance, a little too much oak, but there is also lots of acidity as well. Hold. 50+5+11+16+7
