deep amber colored, plateau. complex tertiary flavors beginning to usurped primary fruit aromas. Jack called out the tangerine notes. The apricot aromas are beginning to candy. The orange rind is drying. Honey and beeswax overtones covering maple syrup backdrop.
Nut is also slowly emerging as the glass warms up.
sweet but no overly saccharine, med/med+ acidity (personally wouldve prefered this a tad higher),. Maybe the holiday, but potentially getting gingerbread on the finish.

4x4 - Mini Tastings: Huge amount of apricots mixed with black tea and soap. Very nice wine that really impressed. Lovely acidity and great balance. Loved it!

Such a wonderful surprise. I know nothing of this bottling, but this was just a hair below spectacular. Spicy, exuberantly aromatic, with a light viscous, velvety palate. I had not idea pinot gris could age like this. Quite concentrated. A+

I always forget how much I love this producer. I'm starting to think that Rieslings are the French (or German) "go to" for food like Albarino is for Spain! Lovely wine and holds up to spic\y Chinese food!

powerful thick wine of golden honey color. sweet apricots and peaches. candied fruit. dense . Great to pair with asian food, sardines, in fact all kinds of fish.not my kind of wine but a revelation and amazingly I would buy a bottle just for the pleasure of seeing others enjoy it. The rest of the tasters at dinner LOVED it. their WOTN.

Drank a bit with pork chops and kasha. Maple syrup color, but not oxidized. Probably last a while.

Fantastically rich and vivid wine; rich pear and apricot flavors, with structure and elegance. Truly, deeply excellent wine, drinking beautifully.
