Tasted over three days. Slightly warm fruit, not as intense and crystallic as the 2010. Touch of development, but still young. Not much of a Volnay expression, but a fairly dense wine considering the Bourgogne Rouge classification.
Ripe berries, touch of leaves/sous bois. Balanced on the palate, acidity present, but not a lot of it. Medium bodied wine. Slightly warm finish (day 3 after all), medium lenght.
Drinks well now, can probably keep for another 5.
