Deep, dark maroon color. Cherries, blackberries, chocolate, licorice, vanilla, pepper, and a bit of dried herb on the nose. Medium to full body with good acidity and a decent tannic backbone. Mouthfilling flavors of cherries, chocolate, briary berries, pepper, raspberries, spicy, jammy berries. A fairly long finish full of spicy berries and cherries with a bit of vanilla and mint. A pretty nice zin with lower alcohol (at least for a zin at 14.6%) and full of flavor. A surprisingly nice zin that I have not seen rated. Great QPR wine compared to others on the market. Great by itself and will go nicely with some BBQ.

Open for about an hour, not decanted. Reddish purple color has a bit of brown to it, kind of a pinot noir look. Aroma is unmistakbly zin, plenty of cherry, bit of chocolate, quite a bit of perfume yet. More of the same on the palate, but chocolate note is much more present than a year ago. Still a fair amount of tannin, leads to long, intense, menthol-laced finish. Still needs some time to settle down, but has loads of potential. I'll save my last bottle for another year. A money match with BBQ grilled salmon.

Drinking just how I like them. The fruit has lost some of the youthful jamminess, but has not faded. Oak is tasty and integrated.

Over-the-top black cherry jammy flavors. I'm usually a fan of Rosenblum's creamy Zinfandels, but this one's so sweet it's almost a Zin port.
