Liked it more second time around. Needs time breath. Tasted better once aerated. Strong tasting, quite acidic. Overpriced. Likely not to buy again. Smell was hard on the nose, almost pungent. Quite a bit of sediment and strong evidence of crystallized sugar on the cork.

Appearance: deep ruby, clear. Aroma: very pleasant, warm, red berries, wood. Taste: well-balanced, oak, some tannins. Food recommendations: red meat, game.
