A nose of some muted fruit and some spice, dark brickish in color. A medium to full bodied red, with blueberry, black cherry, some smoke and spic eon finish, a bit past prime but very smooth, drink now, cool label. www.winelx.com

Wow what a wine, wish I had more. A Big dark, jammy wine. Once opened you could smell it across the room. Great balance and structure. had with filet minion and brussel sprouts w/bacon.

Out of balance, too much oak and the tannins were tight. More aging will probably not make a difference. Parker's review said you could drink through 2025, but in reality the drink window will close around 2015.

color: inky, dark purple to black. Blackberries on the nose, jammy with a little smoke and a little too much alcohol. Viscous. Black raspberries and roasted meat on the palate - very nice acidity. Tannins are also perfect, providing just enough structure for the fruit/acid balance. Finish could be longer, but I'm nit-picking - this is a really nice wine. Next day, finish is way longer. Drying tannins, too.

This bottle was leaps and bounds better than the first one I had. A massive viscous liquid full of ripe blackberry, smoke, metal filings and jerky. Enough structure to keep it lively without the acidity smacking you in the face. Most of all this did not show the flabby vanilla oak bomb character like the last bottle did, even as the wine approached room temperature. Fantastic.

A big Shiraz. Not on the Mollydooker scale, but certainly big. This is more than just bright, luscious fruit. This has a backbone and a focused smoothness that keeps it from burning a hole in your palate after a glass. Would be very good with spiced red meat, lamb, or BBQ. I had it with a bacon and shallot cheese burger. . . and it was good.

Popped and poured through an aerator. This tastes like an entry level shiraz and is certainly not worth the price of admission of $30 from WL. Nice structure but very one dimensional fruit and clumsy oak. Much better wines from Mitolo, etc. at this price point.

I would reccomend not letting this wine breath. It is strange, tastes great when oppened starts to lose its backbone the more it sat. Great bottle is drank when opened.

This wine is surely on the next level. Smells of grilled blackened loin of Bobcat drizzled in black berry liquor. Dense and murky with high acidity that is only tamed by the presence of a concentrated core of smoked fruit cocktail. A bounty of edibles like cranberry, black berries, cherry, plumb, smokehouse sirloin, cassis, leather, and soil. The finish is of great length. Seriously, this wine sets the bar a little higher form me regarding Shiraz. Just about peaking.

OMG. One hour decant revealed a wonderful bouquet...time allowed this most savory Shiraz to fully open ...most excellent Shiraz I have had in a while

Big, Black, Chewy mouthful of a wine. Dark fruit, a bit of smoke lurking in the background. Smooth tannin, nice balance. 2025??
