  • Drunk with chicken and 3 cheese tortelini with cream, mushroom and asparagus sauce. Paired remarkably well because it is a pretty mellow wine at this stage in its life. Somewhat rich and full of spice, allspice, cedar, nutmeg, and white pepper on the very front of the palate. Morphs into leather and musty old books and a bit of eucalyptus in the middle and throughout the end. Somewhat powerful to start out with, but does mellow out for sure. Nearing the end of its life, but still very pleasant. Drink up!
