my first nero d'avola. blueberry and blackberry on the nose with a bit of vanilla cream as well. medium bodied with more of the same blueberry and blackberry on the palate, finishing off with a bit of vanilla and a smooth tannic backbone. i was told this recieved no oak treatment, but i'm not buying it. a very nice drink for $15 and i'm most definitely interested in exploring this variety further.

Yeasty stinky nose. Big blackberry mouth. Held up nicely to homemade lasagne.

Floral nose. Nice balanced fruit and acid. Great with spaghetti and also chocolate cup cake.
