Pnp'd, quite delicious with lots of red fruits of strawberries, cherries, raspberry. The wine was nicely balance with a good acid backbone to pair well with lasagna.

Drank this for a birthday celebration at Yan Palace Restaurant.
Pinot Noir makes wines that you either love, or hate, with very little else in between. I am not a lover of the pinot, but I quite enjoyed this one.
Subtle notes of plums and cherries on the nose. On the palate it is restrained, like a well defined Burgundy. Some notes of mushrooms, earth and currants.
Smooth and easy going in nature, this is not a pretentious wine. I like its simple and fruity style.

Deep garnet color. Notes of cherry, cinnamon, black raspberry and tea leaf. Light-bodied, with flavors of black cherry, pomegranate, nutmeg and spice. Soft, lingering finish. 88+ pts.

Only slightly darker red than the 2006 vintage, but still a vibrant ruby hue.
Raspberries and strawberries dominate the nose, followed by white tea, black currant, roasted almonds, and hints of toffee.
A solid medium body with softer tannins and acidity than 2006, very smooth and pleasant. Somewhat jammy raspberries, rhubarb, more strawberry, and faint toffee flavors. A little weak on the mid-palate and finish, with toffee and raspberry.
Less tannic, more fruit forward, and easier to drink than the 2006 vintage. Much more simple, and will not hold as well as the 2006.

Taste: good, but a bit disappointing compared to other Iron Horse Pinot Noirs we've had. Flat, with no forward tastes or mouth-filling feel. I'm still learning, so I'm not attempting more exotic nose and taste descriptions yet. Summary: 2009 IH Pinot Noir Estate is drinkable, but 2012 is indeed the end of its drinkability window.

Light in color, flora smell. Very fruit forward with hints of berries and light spice finish. Very enjoyable pinot, but overpriced for lack of flavor and depth.

Definitely not over the hill, despite suggested drinking window ending in 2012. A lovely wine.

Tons of plum, licorice, and apricot and cherry on the nose. Thin, a bit earthy and with notes of cedar and a bit of spice on the palate.

Good but not great, light color, not a lot of depth of flavor, but what is there is good, very drinkable, better after sitting in the glass,
