Popped and poured, this cava was essentially undrinkable the first 20-30 minutes due to excessive carbonation. This carbonation also masked any taste and left an unpleasant finish. After 30 minutes a faint citrus/floral aroma arose and left a watery, crisp, and dry flavor. However, this wine did pair well with a seasoned pork roast, pulling out pear and tart flavors. A food-only cava.

Moderate effervescence, bright yet tempered acidity, subtle grove fruit and citrus, mild Belgium white tavern bread note at finish. Great with seafood, especially calamari.

Pretty good with takeout Indian, though the food also emphasized the cava's relatively aggresive acidty and sharp texture: a somewhat more delicate and foamy prosecco would've been even better. First hits the tongue like tart green apple, quickly transitions to lemon zest which in another second becomes more about the bitter pith and quinine. Minerals too.

Consistent noyes. Once again, this proved an exceptional QPR treat. With or without food (really stood out when paired with the crab cakes), this has class, proper minerality and loads of freshness. Recommended.

Very high marks here for a $10 starter wine. Balanced, fresh and vibrant. Aromas of white floral and citrus peel. Tiny bubbles, light citrus flavors surrounding a mineral and stone fruit core. Be sure to serve well chilled.

Extremely dry, crisp, clean. Nice acidity, but other than it's crispness, it doesn't leave much of an impression. There is no depth. But this is definitely a food wine, at least for me it's too dry to enjoy as an aperitif. It pairs nicely with sushi.

Another solid WTSO experience. My friends have been shopping a lot through this website, and while I've only made one purchase, this wine makes it 2/2 that were excellent values. This easily drank at a $15-$20 pricepoint, with solid structure and clean, bright fruit. I'm guessing this is in the top 10 Cava I've ever had, and at $10, it's probably tops for QPR.

Done dry, minimum blend of delicate flavors, fungus, dogwood blossom, than nothing, leaves your pallet clean and asking for more, remarkable Brut, thanks WTSO

Enjoyed more than first bottle: just a bit less austere with fuller/rounder flavor, sort of an implied (but not sugary) sweetness, maybe a hint of meyer lemon spread on toast. Still restrained, dry, and very much in balance. Terrific with cod fillets en papillote with chanterelles and vegetables. Really good value for a Hamilton.

Enjoyed with light cheese and sausage on Christmas
Very light in effervescence and might be due to the drinking window

Good golden color with medium bubbles. Grapefruit essence. Dry with high acidity and orange peel bitterness. Not too complex.
