This poured out a golden, dark orange so we were a bit worried. But the wine delivered. Beautiful complex nose of marmalade, honey, hardened mineral and mature yellow fruits. The palate was round with more marmalade and honey. Good remaining acidity provides length. Full of interest and complexity, with a touch of light.power you might imagine from a 50+ year-old Grand Cru.
