Dark red brick coloured, clearing at the rim. Nose of blackberry, tobacco, and herbs. Body is medium-full, with smooth tannins fully integrated. Dark berries and tobacco fill the palate. A nice lingering finish, well balanced acidity. Drank better on day two, many years left ahead of this one.

Right in the drinking window. Chocolate and fruit on the nose. Beautifully balanced on the palate, high alcohol matched with fruit power. This is a terrific Barossa Cabernet.

14.5% alc. Dirtyish red-brown. Volatility, tertiary farmyard aromas and fruit. With an age to it. Palate is sweet, curranty, mid-weight, flabby. Average quality. 15/20 points. Cabernet+ blind tasting with Steven Spurrier in Moscow
