Still excellent and a good example of how the ripasso method can make very long living wines. DRied berries on the palate with still present tannins and a dry but lasting finish. A good, sturdy wine.

A bunch of leather and dirt on the nose. Some tannins on the palate. Tastes appropriate for its age, meaning it tastes like it is an older wine, but there is still some fruit there and in a good place.

Holding up very well at nearly 10 years of age. Flavorful and a bit raisiny, but not cloying or overly dense. Has a nice acidic backbone and ample tannic structure to hold up a while longer.

My last bottle. Rust color and still drinking well with about 30 mins of air. Good QPR for $5 a bottle at auction!

No notes taken.
Decanted 1 hr.
Clean cork, very little sediment.
As always, a lovely and only minor rustic valpolicella style blend with sweet red fruit.
Perfect for cooking the brown sugar and mustard glaze seared bone-in pork roast in.
Easy style Pinot Noir lovers will enjoy this bargain if found for $6.
Just enough dirt to keep things interesting.
87 pts. Enjoy now or in a couple yrs. Shows best with food.
