1hr+ decant and could have used more. Dark red color with purple rims. Dense, fruit forward Cab. Lots of red and black fruit with some licorice and tar. Medium plus depth. Medium finish. Very nice and very California. 94.5 but rounding up.

1hr+ decant. Awesome as always and extremely consistent, see previous notes. Big French influence. Dark fruit and lots of earth and terroir. Finish could be longer, but these wines always rock!

It’s Neal so it’s always a awesome! 1hr+ decant. Similar to previous notes although the oak was more prominent in this bottle. Fantastic! Would drink sooner rather than later.

Definitely wins the award for heaviest bottle ever!! Must weigh twice that of a regular bottle.
Better than the ‘04 Corison Cab last night and at a lower price point.
Dark purple color. Nose contains cedar, cough medicine, and mild mushrooms. Wine actually has character and elements of terroir. Not all that common in Napa Cabs at this price point I’m discovering. Excellent gritty, sandy texture. Deep wine with black cherry fruit and mild smoke. Medium plus finish.
Neal rocks!!

It’s Neal so of course it’s insane! 30+ minute decant and could use more. Dark purple color. Strong nose of cedar, smoke, and tar. Wine has excellent texture, lovely dark fruit, and nice smoke. Medium finish. Great wine, but not sure it’s worth double the cost of the standard Neal Cab. Probably .1 or 1pt higher than the standard Neal Cab. Begs the general question of what is .1 or 1pt worth? I’ll chime in at $25, but it’s definitely not linear by any means. Neal is amazing!!

Jammy fruit. Tannis were tight even after an hour. Still years left. Opened to early. Regard as quite opulently delicious!! Enjoyed with beef tenderloin Love this wine...

We had high hopes for this but were disappointed. Chalky is a good description of the somewhat offensive taste sensations. The taste lingered into the long finish and I was left unimpressed. I have one more bottle and will kite that when I drink it not to make it the highlight wine. Too bad...

Needed a little time to decant - love to see this wine in 5 years. Agree it was a little chalky but after some time in the decanter (40 minutes) the tannins, though chewy, were phenomenally integrated. Dark fruit on the nose (boysenberry came to mind) with napa dirt and that howell mountain minerality. Wonderful finish.

Agree with other comments, chalky. Tannins need more time to integrate. Delicious fruit though.
