Medium garnet color but getting some browing at the rim. Not a whole lot of fruit. More secondary aromatics like soy and enoki. The palate has reasonable structure to it with silky tannis. Some noticable alcohol on the finish.

DAY 5. Tasted along side the 2004 Fromm La Strada and the 2007 Failla Keefer Ranch. i found this wine uncorked upstairs. first impressions were of onnerous pruney fruit and that it had jumped the shark yesterday or the day before, but it some how puts itself back together. sweet earth mixed with chalky gravel on the nose. a little positively swampy with leather popping out. palate has moved into secondary flavors having shed much of its fruit. (not entirely) M+ acid. why were these wines unattended and unfinished? this is a mystery. (supposedly no one really was enjoying the Fromm wines.)

Dark cherry fruit with some smoke and ash notes to it. Nicely done for that. The palate has acid and tannin are riding high with a structural density. Second day open I wish I would have studied it more the first day.

Fading but still enough legs to go of another year or so. Alcohol very much to the fore. Flavours of cherries, and scents of old Christmas pudding.

A pretty interesting wine. Still fairly young and perhaps a bit hard. Definitely could pass for Burgundy. Has seemed to lost some fruit though.

Medium ruby colour. Fruity aromas. Cherry and blackberry on the palate. Prolonged length. No sediment. Good.
