  • Open and attractive aromatics of ripe red fruit, earth, and leather. Really nice secondary effects on the palate with good core of red fruit and ample freshness. Flashes some nice sustain toward the back with good grip, extract, and length on the finish. A complete Bourgogne and regardless of classifications, this is just good Burgundy.

  • Aromas of autumn leaves, cinnamon, and black cherry give way to a slightly compressed, angular palate featuring sour cherry, spice, and a touch of orange peel. Although the tannins are fairly moderate, the wine seems compressed right now, although I'm sure some brief cellaring will resolve this. Extremely serious for regional Bourgogne.
