Some of their wines get a little over the top for me but this one was quite nice. Much more restrained. Great aroma and I'm digging the finish. Good cranberry and cherry with a bit of leather.

nice, nothing wrong with it, but a mile short of the big aged fruity beauty I was hoping for. Medium red, clear, no sediment, aged well, but sort of a lightweight. Drink now.

Popped and poured - a bit sharp upon opening but was fully opened with just 30 minutes without decanting. Has matured fully and is wonderfully smooth on the palate. Perfect drinking now.

A surprisingly restrained wine. Most Martinelli's are take no prisoners in terms of approach and this was much more refined and balanced than I anticipated. Red raspberry and some hearty mushrooms are the predominant flavors. No heat at all. very enjoyable.

Medium garnet colored. Spicy cola flavors, and feels a bit prickly. Decent enough, but comes off a bit out of balance

More restrained than typical martinelli pilots but still bigger than many other pintos from Sonoma.

Nose of burnt cherries and spice. Cherry and blackberry with a hint of cedar. Very smooth and mellow. Burgundian and not a fruit bomb.

No decant and served in really bad glasses at a hamburger restaurant.

Good ripe fruit that softened over several days. A bit hot overall, though.
