ABV 13; floral nose; evolves in the glass from initially slightly sweet and dense cherry, evolving to more tart cranberry and earthy over the night; not complex, but with great acidity and nice fruit density.

Incredibly tart and cranberry-juice like. The nose has a little barnyard funk, which is nice, but the main story is the acid. I suppose it won't hurt to hold for a few more years, but it's hard to imagine this softening ever.

excellent red currant and slightly tart cherry with a hint of pomegranate; some cedar and excellent acidity that keeps it bright and light on its feet; not enough earth/sous bois to match with the dense duck leg/mushroom/farro mix that i concocted at home, but still a delight to drink.

Nose: Baking powder and cherry-wood stain Palate: Relatively round. Golden Grahams, Licorice root, and dark cherries Finish: Medium Incredible QPR at our purchase price of $17, but far less amazing at current market ($45-$70)

Beautifully complex but "subtle", with light spice, good acid, firm tannins, talcum powder hints, and hint of green bitters. Long, complex finish.
