PnP and into a decanter. Initially I thought this was flawed but the funk wore off after 15 min in the decanter. Good, not great, past its prime. The fruit is fading and nice tertiaries are coming into play. The is bordering on the line where my gray zone for CA cabernet lies. Secondary market purchase so provenance is questionable.

Decanted 1 hr before the first taste. Alive with silky tannins, smoke, leather, mocha, dark cherry, burnt chocolate, and a hint of metal. Long finish. I think this is peaking now.

Initially rather soft and sweet-not something I'd usually characterize in a big Napa cab right out of the bottle. Over the next two hours it brought forth flavors of cherry-charcoal, blueberry and other dark fruits, with minerality notes that were beautifully complimentary, and not likely to get flabby anytime soon as is probably the risk for '07 Napa fruit.
Should mature and drink well at least through 2019.

Really enjoyed this at the Arroyo Chop House with the Wolflicks. Opened at home and decanted for an hour and poured back into the bottle; then allowed it to decant in the glass for another 20-30 minutes at the restaurant. Very complex with dark berries and roasted coffee on the nose, giving way to more dark fruit and slight licorice on the palate. Well integrated tannins and a silky extended finish. Was signing when drunk after a bite of my ribeye!

Beautiful clear dark purple in the glass. The nose is subtle leather, plum, and baking spices. The palate is delicate berries, ripe cherry, and a hint of milk chocolate. The finish is not short, but it is subtle. Beautiful wine ready to drink. I doubt that time in the cellar will be friendly to this wine.

Fruit forward bouquet opens up after an hour or two to reveal the complexity. The roasted coffee, leathery tannin structure give hints of great longevity and underlie a licorice and ripe raspberry, red fruit freshness that is supple and welcoming right now. A wine that will likely age for 10+ years but is perfect today with a barbecued porterhouse with sea salt and rosemary chimicurri or venison tenderloin with red fruit compote.

Very pleasant Cabernet. Dark purple in color with graphite, cassis, and moderate fruit apparent on the palate. Nice body with a long finish. All in all, lived up the Sommelier's description and recommendation. Would definitely drink again.

Incredible bottle, still very fruit forward for the age. Definitely has some life left in it.

Nice ruby color, tannins resolved. Light leather on nose. Well balanced with the right amount of wine. Nice medium sized body. Medium to short finish.
Overall a great wine. I believe there is no benefit to have additional cellar time, but the are no signs of decline.

Nose of dark fruit and a little leather. Not as ripe and extracted as the typical '07 Napa cab.
Nicely balanced fruit and tannins. This wine has the finesse to do well with foods more delicate than grilled steak.

Surprisingly, no sediment in the bottle for a big cab. Balanced fruit, medium finish. Give it a 3-hr decant to give it a chance to express itself.

Outstanding bottle of wine. May become a 99-100 in 3-5 years.
