This wine has improved markedly with age. Has an average nose, nice integrated fruit, and a lingering finish. Would much agree with the ST 91 as opposed to the other reviews.

The cellar tracker folks are way to critical of this wine. Its drinking really well right now with minimal tannins and alcohol, but with some great fuit with a nice finish. Very pleased with the wine.

Was an excellent pairing with garlic and clam pasta. Stood up well - bold, versatile, good fruit. Does not taste old. Looking at my reviews seems to be getting better every year.

Takes a while to open. Dark stewy fruits, pepper, blood, lots of rough tannins, lots of acid and tons of wood. This needs more time. I don't think it's going to be anything glorious but has prolly 2 pts of upside in 2-3 years or perhaps more...

Very odd wine. Something not quite right. Metallic, wet wool flavors. Toward CDP but not really fruit-driven; much more animale and beyond. Not my cuppa.

Unique nose or raw meet and wet wood. Took a bit to open and slowly showed more fruit. Interesitng wine but didn't quite make it...maybe too young, more decanting time?? Hard to justify the $34 I paid for it. I'll let the rest sit and try in no less than a year.

A friend served this to me blind. Very grenache-like nose with lots of red fruits, with a background of pepper and spices. Very spicy palate, with dominating wood and acidity but also enough fruit and body to make it interesting. My guess is this is too young at this stage. 16,49 is a bit high for this quality level imho. 100% Grenache, 10 months on French oak barrels.

Tasted at the "Around the World" tasting at my house. Bright ruby color. Very Southern Rhone-like on the nose with it's spicy cherry, garrigue, leather, and briary notes. Not quite as interesting on the palate as it was on the nose. A bit acidic, but well balanced. I thought it was less interesting than the Darling Kroon served next to it. Perhaps at will improve a bit more. If this wine was in the $15-$20 price range it would be a hell of a QPR, but at the $33 that I paid for it, it's got some pretty tough competition from the Southern Rhone.

Second day some better, fruit is back, quite thick and silky mouthfeel, a bit to much alcohol.

Casualty of wine tasting. Solid wine but not very complex.

Keeps getting better. Had with Thai Lotus food. Missus enjoyed. Drank all the wine and left me the dregs. Oh well.

Served at a block party. Good wine to have in plastic cups in a festive environment with burgers.

Deep dark purple. Decanted for about 2 hours. Pretty monolithic wine. Enjoyable but not much going on.
