  • (14.9%) Muted green apple aromas break through on the nose with loads of barrel notes in tow. This same combination leads the palate before a (barrel) spicy, buttery backbone emerges with hints of a petrol/oiliness present. It almost seems like you are dropping a green apple in an over buttered movie popcorn bag, pulling it out and licking the skin. And I'm not digging on the overall the quality of this medium to full bodied wine which is apparent. It is just a style that is not for me.
