Candied citrus, woody honey, slightly drying mouthfeel, superb sugar/acid balance, clean finish. Not intensely sweet, this has some shared character with a teenage Auslese, though with a little more weight and sugar. I think this is drinking beautifully now and don't see any need to wait. Quite a delight. 12.5%
Ha ha, not a RP 100 pointer for sure, but some really interesting things going on here. We like it at the price point for sure as an alternative to Sauternes.

From 375 ml - light medium canary yellow color; botrytis, sweet butter, crystallized lemon, lemon cream nose; tasty, ripe lemon, tart lime, mineral, dried lemon palate with depth, good acidity and character; long tart finish

South West France Journey; 5/30/2010-6/19/2010 (South West France): Purchased this one directly from the domaine, moreover, the bottle was signed by Charles Hours himself :-). No wonder it tasted so good. Still very young, but amazing balance of acidity and sweetness, had plenty of it with local cheeses as wel as apple tart. Delicious!!! Although packed with apple, peach flavours, you could feel honey coming. Great future for this wine. Cheers!
