  • No formal notes but drinking better. Fairly light in mouthfeel. Had a significant amount of herbal notes. A pinot drinkers cab.

  • Well made wine, but with to high of an alcohol level. Deep purple color and dense berries, prune, oak. Needed a bit in the glass to open. At 15.6% alcohol and such a full wine diminished the overall enjoyment. Drink now. Wouldn't buy this again at close to $100.

  • Deep crimson color. Aromatically tight to start but opens up, showing black cherry and blackberry, along with smoky toasted oak and some herbal edges. Firm, structured cabernet, with grippy, ripe tannins. Black fruits from start to finish smoky, barbecue type flavors on the mid palate through finish. Feeling the alcohol on the way out.

  • Nose: Eucalyptus, like a parmesan cheese note, forest floor. Taste: Silky mouthfeel. A hair of like tart minerality on the approach (unripe blackberry), and an odd almost butter/gee note on the transition. Adds some plum on the finish. Finish is OK (~10 seconds). I like it, but I don't think it justifies the pricetag. Not much by way of tannins, I would say drink soon.
