Rich, plummy brambly fruit framed by baking spices. Nice balance, good structure, tannins mostly resolved. Shows a little heat. Put on some weight after 24 hours.

Initially really closed, with nothing but minerals. That opens into a briary, earthy aroma with some plums and blueberries. Nice structure, surprisingly with some soft but noticeable tannins for a 92% zinfandel blend (8% petite sirah). An elegant style, as opposed to a lot of the current zins out there. Medium, pleasant finish. I would drink this up over the next couple of years, as I don't think it's going anywhere, but is quite good now.

Decanted over a 3 hour period this bottle opened up. I have to admit this was a mis-rotation in my cellar, but I have to say I am happy it was. It was very surprising. Full of fruit and not very tannic. If anyone has anymore in their I would drink it up because this won't last much longer.

14.9% alc...8% PSirah...black pepper & sweetness combines on the nose, adding in a little vanilla, smoke and spice, blackberries, plums, very inviting...medium body, loads of peppery / spiciness (read: black pepper and baking spices) on the palate, really zippy with fine tannins on the back end alongside a black olive/balsamic note. Interesting enough though the alcohol seems prominent on the finish. PD indicated this would plateau about now, and I have to agree - don't see much upside. Drink up in 06 - this was my last..

This wine is all about exuberant, rich, sweet fruit and spices. Tannins are moderate. The finish shows a bit of the 14.9% alcohol with some bitterness and heat. Overall a very good wine, went down very easily.

Faint nose of cherries and licorice. Nothing on the initial palate but metallic and heat on the end. Let's see what happens in 24 hours. But for now another disappointment from the Ridge ATP.

Like many of my older Ridge bottles cork broke, possibly due to storage? Anyway wine way past its prime.

Was a very nice wine with Lamb. Had a great fruit and good finish. Stood up to the strong flavor of the dish very well

Delicious fruit with a little vanilla, but no tannins and the acids are soft. This is in graceful decline IMO.

Inky dark. Mineral, earth, briar, dark fruit and spice nose. Moderate tannin, blue and black fruit, pepper-spice blackberry jam. Nice finish.

This is a fairly light and easy wine. Nice fruit, but little structure or depth. An easy middle of the week bottle.

92% zin and 8% petit sirah. Jammy with dark fruits. Medium-to-full-bodied, not overpowering. I'm looking forward to drinking the next one

Another Ridge fruit bomb - lots of heat, lots of fruit dark fruit. Prototypical wine from Draper as of late. Glad I canceled my ATP description.

Note after 48 hours. Tight nose. Sweet tannins, blackberries, cherries and spice. Definitely better than the last time I tasted it.
