solid wine especially with food. Atypical pinot unless your pinot is able to stand up to Texas Barbecue, grilled steak, fowl and remain a delicious full bodied red wine when sipped alone

I disagree with previous reviews on this wine. It is still ruby, but getting a little brown around the edges. Brings out alot of caramel/toasty notes, but still has lots of red fruit left (cherries). Initial smell is a little alcohol-ish, but the flavor is still very vibrant. Very little earth or mushroom on this pinot. This is my 2nd bottle - consistent notes over both bottles.

Really reaching its peak. I opened a bottle last night and it was not pleasant. I would drink these up if you have them.
