Amber colour. Nose is complex; raisin and marmalade. The palate has orange peel zest, fresh acidity and intense orange sweetness and fresh finish. Lacks complexity of a Sauternes but lovely stuff nonetheless.

A big step down from the prior bottle. Flavors seemed duller and more muted. I concur with prior tasters' assessment that the acidity on this is lacking. Easy enough to drink right now, but wouldn't hold out any hopes for improvement.

Not enough acids - left this wine sweet ("stickie") and flat footed. Tasted twice with the same results. I felt like just pouring some over ice cream and calling it a thin syrup. Compare this against a good Sauterne if you don't understand the acid comment and you will. You can't even begin to drink a 3 year old French Sauterne of any character. Nor would you want to. Elderton makes some absolutely amazing wines. This isn't one of them.

Tasted at the Cellar Door. Lovely light golden color, with aromas of honey, ripe peach, apricots and citrus. Good, sharp acidity should support a bit of aging. A pleasant desert wine.

It's done. Nothing but faded flavors and sweet left.

Nice golden color. A little sweet for me, but still a lovely wine. I get lots of honey/peachy notes along with some spiceyness. Nice QPR here.
