Impressively good. Everybody I served this to was happily surprised. Not sweet, but a pleasant Riesling note that really works with a dry sparkling wine. Will be looking for this in the future.

Tasted at Dee Vine. There is an earthiness to the Solter Sekts that I find more appealing than the citrus of Champagne. This is drier than previous years, but just as compelling. Very Good+.

Pale, dry and mineral. Very little Riesling character per se but very good, fresh sparkler.

Introduction to 2009 German Rieslings (Dee Vine Wines, San Francisco): Floral, moderately sweet fruit on the nose. Good Riesling fruit underneath, moderate dosage. Zippy acidity, good yeasty finish. I am not a big fan of Sekt wines but enjoyed this.

Very fine mousse, lovely ripe fruit, yeasty, creamy and harmonious, good length. Simpler than the Reserve but good stuff.
