in reading the previous notes, I have nothing to add, except that the finish was not as long and as smooth as others have suggested. Nice, medium bodied syrah that fits the price point.

Consistant with previous. Rich, dark color. Full nose of cedar forest, vanilla, a little tar, and a lot of dark fruit. Tastes followed pleasantly on attack, mid-palate and finish. 92-93

10/06/07: Dark, deep red purple color. Very enticing and complex nose that yells our Syrah! with pepper, wood, aromatics and cherry. This is a well balanced wine with good structure. The taste is black cherry, earth, vanilla and tea. Nice long finish with smooth tannins and spice.

As soon as I got a whiff of the nose, I knew this would be really good. Very aromatic with hints of vanilla, black tea, dark, rich fruits, cocoa, and cedar. Rich and full without being syrupy or anything close to a "fruit bomb". Balanced and layered with a long, lingering finish.

Deep Deep dark blackish red color. Very interesting nose of grilled meat, smoke, and black cherry. Nice concentration, but skips a little bit of mid and back palate grip.

Tasted at winery. From Stage Coach Vineyard (volcanic soil). Drinking pretty well now. Aromas of black cherry, plums and smoke. Taste of cherry, blueberry, vanilla and clove, with some tannins. Pretty good. $36 retail
