Pnp. Still a big boy cab. Dark berries , oak n vanilla. Soft tannins. Paired well with grilled tri tip. Not sure more would benefit. Good to go tonight. Pleasant on nite 2, but losing its balance, fruit over taking.

Rich, bright red color. Excellence nose of dark fruit with a hint of oak. Flavors transition seamlessly from the nose. Very balanced with tannins and acids in harmony and hiding in the background. Very enjoyable experience. Opened bottle and allowed to breath for an hour before tasting.

Fruit forward cab with boysenberry and blueberry flavors. Decanted about an hour which removed all of the tannins. Good but doesn't stand up to the 2008 Cakebread cab I had before this one.

I am partial to Justin wines, and this bottle fits the typical Justin style. Unapologetic, full bodied, fruit foward style (if not a bomb), but with some depth and complexity to make it multi-dimensional. To my palate, it was too young and forward (I prefered the Tom Eddy 2006 Elodian), but everyone else really loved it. I was surprised by the gobs of sediment in this particular bottle. If I had another bottle, I'd wait until 2014 to open, but I prefer wines with a bit of age.

great fruit still a bit acidic with adequate tannins should be better in 1-2 years The wine looks Garnet colored. The body is Medium/Full. The wine has Fleshy texture. The wine finishes Medium.

Justin wines are favorites of mine, so I'm perhaps a bit biased. Deep kirschy, a bit minerally, and herbal on the nose. Very dark ruby/inky in color. Classic Cab taste, nice full body with loads of red & dark fruit, kirsch, olive & chocolate, touch of cinnamon and wood. Also present that undeniable Paso Punch (spiciness) . . but wait a minute, me thinks there's a bit of Napa Cab fruit mixed in (but what do I know). Still, I think it makes a very nice blend. Solid Central Coast Cab, would prob remain approacheable for several years (5-6 years) to come. Well done!!! :-)

Bright jammy nose of warm red berries. Super rich palate of red berry fruit. Very rich, juicy and mouth-coating wine. Decadent but not overly powerful or out of balance. Very nice!

Bright red, medium density. Aromas of cherries, berries, spice and light oak. Well balanced still with tannins to age. Smooth and pleasurable to drink now, but a few years will help this wine and should easily push it into the low 90's.

pop and pour at the restaurant. It's just fantastic right now. I'll try to restrain myself and keep a few in the cellar.
