This has improved with age. Needed about an hour to open. Deep black cherry taste. Soft tannins. Medium finish. Paired nicely with spicy food and chocolate. Too bad it's the last bottle from this vintage. The plastic cork/stopper seems to have worked.

The wine has mellowed and integrated nicely. Color is a deep burgundy, needed to be aerated to open up. Tasted this along side the '11 and '12 vintages (didn't have any '10 left) The nose had some fig and plum, not alcohol present. Palate came across smooth and deep or full, not watery - with plum, dark chocolate and some subtle spice. Good structure. Finished slightly forward with some tannins, no alcohol taste on the finish. Not sure this can get any better without losing flavor.

Nice darker color than one would usually see from a Cab. Bouquet came across as having blackberry, fig, some earthiness and some spices (maybe nutmeg like?). Flavors of black cherry, currant fig and coffee with just a slight hint of alcohol on the finish and some mild oak. Nice complexity, not single note at all. Very very pleasant to drink.
Color dark, not specifically noted. Bouquet of blackberries, cassis, fig, spices, coffee, and earth. Flavors of black cherries, currants, fig, licorice, chocolate, toffee and coffee. For 10 dollars this showed fairly well; not getting the watery finish and oak chips noted by others. An array of full flavors offering mild at least mild complexity and structure that you don't usually see for CA Cabs in this price range. Apparently this scored a "94" in the California state fair.

Opens with huge blackberry followed by black currant (cassis), prune, and a little vanilla. Medium body with a somewhat narrow texture. Score [50 + 4 + 11 + 13 + 5] = 83. Not a bad bottle to open and drink on a Tuesday night.

Bottle does need to breathe for 10-15 minutes before pouring. This is on the lighter side for Cabs and you can really taste the shiraz mellowing out the kick. Initial taste is of berry mixed with an oakiness.
Two negatives pushing score lower than taste. First, the bouquet is a little off putting and makes one think the wine will be harsher than what it is. The second, there is quite a bit of separation on the glass edge which is somewhat more understandable because it is a blend, but not what you would expect in a Cab.
Also an interesting cork. Really easy to open if you hate the corkscrew.
Good $10 bottle for a small non fancy get together in a mixed wine crowd.

Young wine enthusiast who was looking for a decently priced Cab to be drunk immediately. Found this without much knowledge. Opened up nicely after about 25 min. Paired with chicken, pesto, pasta and went perfectly.
Day 2 opened up even more. For inexpensive wine, great layers and body.

First experience with "Zork". This bottle showed fairly well at 10 dollars, paired with baby back ribs smoked low and slow over cherry and apple wood.

A royal plum purple, with a touch of a hazy film. Spicy cassis fragrance comes accross as a bit watery. Comfortable in the mouth, not deep nor complex, but simple, plain and direct. Very short watery finish. I know it's a $10 american cab, ok, but for the price, go to Rhone, Spain, Portugal.....

Good nose, spicy and full. Currant with bit of vanilla and dark fruit on the palate. The finish is OK. Overall pretty good for $10. We drink it as an everyday wine With pasta or burgers.

WLTV Napa Cabs (valley) (Eastside Wine Storage): My least favorite of the lineup. The nose smelled manufactured, sort of like pleather in the backseat of my mother's 1985 volvo. THe midpalate was slightly bitter in a weird way and never regained composure. I didn't spend a lot of time on it. Not rated, but also not really liked.

Perhaps due to the wanting-to-look-boutique label I was expecting more. This is ok, but just ok, and at a hair over $10 I am not inclined to get any more.

A nose of dark fruit and spcie, dark purple in color. A medium to full bodied Cab, with blackberry, plum, some vanilla, a bit rough, but an ok mid week wine.

Drinkable, but not memorable. It was better when it was younger.
