Decanted briefly then served with potato and saffron torta, garlicky chard and beet vinaigrette salad. Dark ruby color, dense leather and coffee nose. Heavy super dark fruit with pleasant full body, a lot of oak but not much complexity on the tail end, leaving a grape juice impression. A perfectly decent Monday wine.

A dry, woody tempranillo. Earthy. Not complex.

Unbalanced, hollow mid-palate. Never came together for me. Won't be buying more at $17.

What a happy little wine. Nice with some meats and cheeses, or just on its own. Juicy fruit flavors with enough structure to keep it focused.

at the beggiing vegetable notes and strong oak; later fresh fruits. taste: vanilla, currants, full - bodied with nice accidity.
