Family Celebrations; 5/5/2023-5/12/2023 (Alicante y Madrid - España): Snacking with Salitos Tequila Flavoured beer. Good quality cork slightly sunk in the neck of the bottle. To avoid unnecessary risks a Durand corkscrew was used. Bright young nugget of gold colour with a greenish halo. Little reduction at first. On the nose aromas of hawthorn flowe, leather, nutmeg, candied lemon peel stand out. Also a mineral note of limestone and concrete. Aristocratic elegance. Nice complexity. On the palate showed an oily texture well balanced by acidity, medium-bodied wine, tasty, deep and long with a bitter, acid finish. Delicious in every way, including that serious aftertaste. Time ahead but why to wait for. Another great bottle from once time modest winemaker.

Tasted immediately after opening. Light straw colour. On the nose; smoky and mineral-laden with further hints of butterscotch, floral perfume, melon and citrus fruits. On the palate; very smooth and accessible – perhaps a touch short on depth, but displays a long, structured finish. This wine is so delicious now that I doubt any of my remaining bottles will live to reach maturity. Fantastic value!
I'm not sure I "got" this bottle. Usually I like Lamy but this one seemed to be on the simple side. 2009 should be approachable but it was quite acidic and it just didn't seem to have the stuffing do become something really good in time. Maybe I'm just not as much a Saint-Aubin man as I though I was.

Classic flavors (e.g. butter and hint of oak) and nice forward fruit (citrus fruits), but nice minerality, structure and acidity keep everything very well balanced. At $35 it's a steal for a white burgundy of this quality.

I was afraid of the vintage but it showed beautifully with a nice balance between its richness, acidity, fruit and mineralit.
Nice bottle.

This is still youthful but the fruit and oak are beautifully integrated. Finishes quite long. A lovely glass of Burgundy.

Ganske syrlig og lett stil. På generelt grunnlag mangler jo 09 mange ganger syre og dermed passer denne husstilen årgangen ganske bra .
