Tasting notes
Antaño Reserva is a ruby red cherry wine of Rioja, with iridescences in tile color, shows an intense aroma of vanilla, mature fruits and leather. In the mouth is very soft, tasty and easy to drink. The retronasal sensation is complex and persistence.
Fermenting process
Ferment with the seeds and the skins during a long 20 days in stainless steel tanks at the temperature of 30º C with a peculiar high macerate. Then it has to be done the oxygenation and carrying the malolactic fermentation.
Many airy racked are been made to get the natural clarification of the wine. Then it spends in barrels of different origins and ages 26 months, making it several intermediate rackings, topped with a long rest in our bottled cellars. The evolution in the bottle is in a medium long term, pretty good.
Servicing recommendations
We recommend serving it at the temperature of 18ºC.
Pairing
Antaño Reserva is the perfect option to be served with legumes, red meat and grilled fish.
