Pedigree
100% Chardonnay
Handpicked, hand-sorted, gently whole-bunch pressed. Fermented and matured in French oak (50% new, 50% one year old). Malolactic secondary fermentation. Hand-stirred on the lees for 12 months.
Harmony; delicate elegance balanced perfectly with richness, depth and hidden power. Long, lingering finish that leaves one feeling delightfully pensive and soothed!
PIERRO Chardonnay 2015
From the superb, low yielding 2015 vintage, this wine is displaying the full extent of PIERRO’s winemaking abilities. Intense and rich but delicate and fine. The suite of flavours of peach, melon and nectarine, complex and savoury ... all linger to a long sumptuous finish.
Utterly gorgeous and perhaps the best we have made.
