Winemaker: rich, concentrated, layered and unique in its flavor profile. The nose is expansive, with intense aromas of plums, black currants and black cherry. The nose carries through to the palate with complex, yet subtle layers of flavor, which unfold slowly and include dark cherry, plum, orange peel, and raspberry. The lingering finish seems to go on and on, with long supple tannins and flavors of dried cherry and black tea.. The wine is age worth and should continue to evolve for at least 8-10 years. 40 cases. Aged 27 months in 100% new oak. 39 cases. $95 Group members only.
