A ‘garagiste’ Sonoma County winery located in Healdsburg, Malm Cellars is literally a one-man show. The one-man being ex-Sonoma State University soccer player-turned-winemaker Brendan Malm. An Orange County, California native, Brendan’s wine career started after entering his first barrel of wine in the prestigious Orange County Fair Wine Competition. His Cross Blend took Gold over much more prestigious producers and raised many eyebrows among the judges. 13 years later Malm produces Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Zinfandel, Syrah, and Cabernet and does everything involved in the process himself, from harvesting grapes to delivering them to accounts by hand in his pick-up truck.
Although tiny in production and not widely distributed, Malm Cellars has been featured at the likes of the Beverly Hills Hotel, Trump National Golf Club, Mastro’s Steakhouse in Newport Beach and Beverly Hills, and a few prominent Las Vegas restaurants.
