This year's Dogtown really speaks of its origins. Expressions of black tea leaf (fairly typical of Zinfandel from the Lodi area) in conjunction with ripe dark fruit, spice and cherry aromas add to this wine's complexity. It is a full-bodied wine with substantial tannins and a long finish.
