(Turley Dogtown Zinfandel) I could not take more than one sip of this wine. Chocolate, alchohol, green vegetables, black fruits on the nose. Fat, fat, fat, juicy, oaky, ripe, dense, thick, opulent, glyceril, huge . . . . you get the point. Actually a touch hollow considering the hugeness of the finishing fruit. Not my scene but well made if you like the style.

This wine is just now drinking at its best I feel it will hold for a few more years. Mature yet full of fruit, continued to develop over 1.5 hours, beautifully balanced.

I am surprised that about half of this wine held by CT members is still in cellars. Had a bottle from a friend stored since release. Garnet edge, raisin, and acid. DOA. I like the young Turleys, but this is way too far gone.

Probably still could continue for a bit longer. Wow! Explosion of raspberries, blackberries, currants, black pepper, cherries.

Was jammy with definite raisin- maybe a touch old, but still had some strong dark berry fruit flavors and good balance. I think it's a bit passed it's prime...
