Typically, 100% Grenache (planted 1912-1940s) from the sandy soils of Chapouin (80%), La Gardiole (8%), & La Janasse (2%), and the stony soils of Coudoulet (10%); Vinified 3-4 wks in concrete vats with daily cap punchings; Aged 65-80% in large barrels, 20-35% in new-3 yr old 600-L oak casks, typically for 12 mos, ff'd by 6 mos in vats before being fined & bottle unfiltered;
