Nonetheless, the wine was less fruit forward than I expected and the acidity was less than expected. It was very delicate with soft tannins. I don't recall another pinot like it. I have a been on the lookout for an affordable red burgundy that I like with not much luck but I do like this one and, as noted, it was ready to drink.It was a very pleasant surprise.
