Hard to find much wrong with this. Tons of that Dujac spice - cinnamon and baking spices. Earthy, but there is a clean and very pretty element to the wine. It is certainly in its drinking window but will likely stay here for a long time given the structure in the wine.

For a village level wine this is well worth the extra price paid for the name. Red fruits and minerality - nice aromatics. Some vosne spice and a little creaminess. The acidity is a bit high but as a 98 it's kind of expected and in this case not an issue as long as one likes "linearity" in their burgundy. The bottle was finished quickly but not sure how much better it could get if we'd aired it out and waited.

Started out a bit muted on the nose but quite rich, even heavy and oily on the palate. After some air, white flowers, apples and some nuttiness. 92 was nice for whites and it shows here. The minerality came out late as the palate thinned out and the nose got better. Roumier makes a big oaky Corton Charlemagne and though this starts out that way, it calms down quickly and was quite nice an hour or so out.
