Of the three wines we opened for Thanksgiving, this was the star of the show. This is the third wine I have had from ÀMaurice Cellars and it is clear the winery is producing some of the best stuff in Washington. The Horiuchi red blend stood up well to the extensive meal, but at no time over-powered any of the dishes. Nice currant flavors, soft tannins and a touch of blackberry made for an excellent wine that caught the attention of all of our family and friends.
