On opening, I smelt acetate and was worried that the bottle was fatally flawed. Thankfully this blew off after 20 minutes and was replaced by beautifully cherry aromas and taste. I felt that I’d struggle to place this as Garnacha if I tasted it blind, so much did it remind me of a Pinot Noir (perhaps Cotes de Beaune?) undoubtedly it’s ready to drink now but it’ll be interesting to see how this develops over the next 5 years +

I’ve bought a lot of this and loved it in its infancy. Now at 7.5 years old it’s a rather ugly. Ah, however after an hour in the glass it’s magically transformed into a beautiful silky and polished Pomerol. It’s undoubtedly young and will improve with another 5 years. I’ve adjusted my original 87 score !

Delicious- give it another 10 years and it will be a knock-out wine. Tried it in zalto Universal - much more refined if a little muted. Reidel Vinum - more tannins present and lots more blue/black fruit. For me, it’s not worth the money compared to other Cornas - Vincent Paris’s range is much less expensive and can be wonderful.
